Ernest Wingate-Saul

Sir Ernest Wingate-Saul (1873 – 1944) was Recorder of Preston from 1921 until 1928, and Judge of Appeal in the Isle of Man from 1925 until 1928. He was also Umpire under the Unemployment Insurance Act between 1928 and 1944. He died in 1944 and Wingate-Saul Road in Fairfield, Lancaster is named after him.
